Dispatch center have a key role to play in improving the delivery of SPSV services to people with disabilities.

Operators and drivers will be encouraged by the commission to affiliate to        registered Dispatch Centres.

The independence and self employed status of individual drivers will not be comprised by these arrangements.

Affiliation to Dispatch Centres  will bring greater co-ordination and co-operation for the benefit of all.

The Commission will work with Dispatch Centres to improve the safety of Drivers and passengers through the promotion of security and safety systems.

One of the Commission’s statutory objectives is to encourage investment to support and enhance SPSV services and to promote innovation in this regard.

It is important that all business make use of available technology.

Significant improvements can be achieved for drivers through the use of modern communications systems and Satellite Navigation Systems.
